Just downloaded it, it's pretty nice. Except the text on some sites is really small... maybe there's a way to change that?

Re: Opera Mini 4 Beta 3 just came out!

First impression is not a good one.
I failed to spot any enhancement over beta 2.
No antialiasing, no "trackball click", still uses DEL instead of Enter for click/validation and you still have to go through menus just to validate your choices much too often.

Fit to width became "Mobile View".
Yeah, that's it: "Mobile View". Can you make any sense out of these words ?
Did they hire a new marketing guy or what ?!?

Auto-jumping to the first line of text on page load in Fit do with mode, uh sorry, "Mobile View" mode, does not work any more.
    Sigh, I liked this behaviour.
On the other hand you can now get from top to bottom and back much faster, since you only have to type #3 once to get to one end to the other.

Homepage bookmarks do not work anymore!
But wait, there's a Speed Dial feature instead.
So now you must import each bookmark you want on your homepage in a Speed Dial entry, instead of just ticking a box.
And when you want to move it back from the homepage to the bookmarks page, you have to clear the Speed Dial entry and then re-create the bookmark.
Also you can import Speed Dial entries from history, nice... but you can't import bookmarks the same way. And you can create a bookmark from any page, but not a Speed Dial entry...
    Why make it simple...

And one last rant: # and * menus seem to have gotten slower.
Maybe that's just me, but I don't get why they need 2-3 seconds to pop up.

Overall, beta 2 was a very nice release. OM then really got usable on BlackBerries.
Beta 3 looks like they're gone the totally wrong way.

If the text is a part of an image, you have to adjust the image quality... But that should only make the text clearer and not bigger. If it's actually HTML text, you can adjust the size in the settings menu.

I'd play around with the different views to see which one suits you best. Either way, it's way better than the BB native browser!

Oh yeah, there's also this Feeds feature I don't care about and which cannot be removed from the homepage.

I see no improvement over the last one! There's still too many errors.

Re: Opera Mini 4 Beta 3 just came out!

I have been using V4 beta 1 for a while with no issues at all. I avoided beta 2 since it seemed to have a lot bugs. My main question is - is there any reason to upgrade to beta 3? Does it have a lot more bells and whistles and benefits vs. Beta 1?
