    Nub inquiry

    I'm fairly new to the this wonderful world of the Blackberry. How do I go about re-installing the OS on the 8100. Is their a post that already exists on a step by step process on this. If anyone can help, it would really be appreciated.

    There's a link to Roger's BB OS downloads in the OS section of pinstack. What you need to do is make sure you have that on your computer, along with the desktop software. Then, go into preferences, advanced, general settings, hit the menu key, and select Wipe Handheld. After that, you'll have to connect the BB and run the App Loader. That should reinstall the OS.

    Where can I get the Rogers OS. I downloaded something from Rogers but not sure if that was it or not.

    Concerning Home Screen. When ever I scrolled over the Call Log icon I was getting this, "(-4) Call Log". Since I re-installed the OS (Rogers), the problem has been rectified. Even a friend of mine who works for RIM couldn't figure it out except advising re-installing the OS.
