    hi

i have the Blackberry pearl 8100 phone and service by tmobile.
i uploaded some mp3 ringtones on my phone and saved them on my memory card.
i renamed some of the song titles and now they wont play or they cannot be deleted.
any suggestions on how to get rid of them?

    any help is appreciated!

    thanks,
    jack

well, the rintgtone is no longer in the phone or memory card but the name of the song still appears when i try to assign a ringtone to a caller.. the file type is a regular mp3 song that i cut short to 30 sec.

Pull the battery with the phone still on and put it back if that does not fix the missing mp3 run an application loader off of the pc.back up the info and when you restore the info do advanced instead of regular restore. only trans back the non media files. Use these thread to assist you with the app loader.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~or you can connect to your PC, better with your DM. Find the ringtones that don't play and right click on them, select delete from there.
