    aloha fellow crackberries
I have alot of questions but will only ask a few at a time...
    1) is there an auto answer feature (answers automatic after 2 rings?)
(i use a the stock earpiece and work where my hands get dirty all the time, would like phone to answer on its own after a couple of rings)

    2) can i get my bb pearl to only ring in my earpiece and not for everyone else to here?

3)trying to get "getmail for hotmail" to work for me. Could not really find any directions on how to set it up...(did not know that your home pc must be on 24/7 for it to work?)

I did search here for answers but did not come up with much.

thanks for any and all help.

    HICOMPCRX, Welcome to PinStack.

    I'll try to help.

    1. I don't think so, I haven't found it.

    2. No.

    3. Don't know anything about "getmail for hotmail", sorry.

Let us know if there is anything else we can do to help with this problem or your BB.

    1) I believe there are auto answer features on a bluetooth head set, might want to try that...

    2) Bluetooth might, but I'm not sure.....

    3) Is "getmail for hotmail" something like push mobile? I don't think hotmail can be pushed to the BB yet.

for auto-answer, go to the phone screen, and press menu, then go to options.. the "general options" category will give you an option to Auto Answer calls... you can't specify number of rings though

Lux, That option is only for when it is pulled from the holster. The OP wanted to do it without touching his BB.

HICOMPCRX, Can't you use the answer button on the headset? That works on mine, or did when I used the head set on my 8700.
