New Windows Installation - how to sync??

    Hi stackers,

just installed Win Vista 64bit on my new computer. Before that I synchronized my BB8100 with Outllok 2007. As I sync my PocketPC as well (with 2 computers...) it was ab bit difficult.... Pocket PC and both Outlook (PC and Laptop) are finishes now. Im just installing Desktopmanger 4.2 SP1.

Is it possible to get a clean Sync for my bb??? Should I clear all appointments, contacts and then receive them from outlook??

I believe if you go to the Sycnronization app with your BB Connected, and Select the Configuration tab for each of the PIM App selections, you can select Import, Export and Sync. Here are what is listed for the actions.
    • Import = to Handheld
    • Export = From Handheld
    • Sync = Syncronize PIM with Handheld

The first sync can be done using the Import then all others can be done using sync.

    Hope this helps

If you synced prior to updating the PC and your outlook PST file is still good, then I would think a nowmal sync is all that is necessary. I think I misunderstood before.
