Thought I better explain a little i got the Black Berry 8100 and took my sims card out of my old phone and installed it into this one and everything works fine but cant pair up the blue tooth and i really would like to pair it up as when in car the bluetooth is a must i hate people holding thier phones trying to drive

Are you sure you have your Moto in pairing mode? Also make sure that your device BT is on and that it is in discovery-mode.
Oh yeah...Welcome to the Stacks!

fyshawk. Welcome to stacks!!
I agree, bluetooth (handsfree) talking is the best way to go, less risk of an accident.
Well, you usually get instructions on how to pair the headset/stereo/etc with a bluetooth enabled phone/device.
What I usually do, is turn on the headset (or whatever you're using), Go to Bluetooth Setup on your BB, GO to menu and add new device, it should find the device you're trying to pair to.
Would it be any help if i said my bluetooth was paired up with my other phone i had the one the sims card came out of
I was trying this also. I have my 8100 and my 8120 paired with my H680 but it only wants to connect with one phone at a time.
Well if you're actually "Paired" you should disconnect it and re-try to pair with the HS820.
The SIM card has nothing to do with BT pairing, and you cannot be activley paired to 2 devices at the same time. Do you know how to put the HS820 in pairing/discovery mode? Just in case:
Turn the headset off; then hold the multi-function button until the blue LED light remains on. Discover and pair it with your cell phone or PDA using the default "0000" passkey. Even though Motorola includes only a few of their phones in the compatibility list, the HS820 will work with most Bluetooth phones and supports both Hands Free and Headset profiles.
