    1. My SMS and Email Icons now look different from each other when they are in my mailbox.
    2. Display Message Header can be auto, 1 line, or two lines.
    3. Under Email Settings you can auto set any of your email address to do the following: Confirm Delivery, Confirm Read, and Send Read Receipts.
    4. The calculator can be used with your trackball as opposed to hitting any keys.

Like I said, maybe I never paid attention, but this stood out when I installed 4.2.1.96 tonight.

    Cheers, David
    1. What's the difference? They still look the same to me.
    2. Cool.
    3. I might set this to confirm delivery since somedays my BB is slow when sending messages.
    4. I love the new use of the trackball on the calculator. More accurate for me.

I also just discovered when you open the menu to save changes to the options in number 3, it gives you a menu option for Folder Redirection. I would take a screenshot to show what I'm talking about but my screenshot app is being a PITA and saying I need JavaLoader.exe which I think I installed.

Also, just remembered to mention that the problems I had with typing links in BB Messenger are a thing of the past now FINALLY. That's one of the first things I did, after having to fight with, delete and reinstall JiveTalk for the 2nd time.

Are you sure it's just not taking a while? Usually takes 3-5 mins.

Pull the battery and boot up again see if that helps.

Oh you hosed your OS...how did you manage that? Did you unplug your BB too early?

I would go to this thread. Read it first then follow the directions.

That is a big no no during an OS upgrade unless there is visibly no progress at all during the upgrade.

Wait, you didn't let it finish installing? I thought you said you just updated? Was it not done updating?
If I knew you weren't done updating I would have never told you to pull the battery.

Anyways your OS is toast. Use the link I gave you and follow those directions to get you back on track. I hope you backed up.

In the future, you have to give us more information. Be SPECIFIC or else we won't be able to give you the right advice.

    Good luck

Well I finally upgraded and had no issues. Just had to set back my tcp settings. I didn't find any significant
    diff from the Rogers.

AWSOME OS! I am now able to Install Java games without data plan via Desktop Manager by Puting the java files on the phone or Micro SD card, I can now Select that java file, select open and now have the Option to download and install. Any version before this i was unable to do.
