What people are the forum are calling the "dropped call" issue where it sounds like the call drops, but it stays connected. Its seems to affect tmo subscribers. I never have the issue with the tmo software, but any of the other ones I do. In fact I have tried in on both 8100's I have, and it always appears when I upgrade. Oh well!

I have T-Mobile and have experienced this issue on .96. I haven't experienced it on .101 yet, but I only had it installed for about a week. On .96, I only had the issue when traveling in a car. So maybe the flaw had something to do with a cell tower switch off.

Anyone notice that the MyFaves app is white and different shaped then the old circle and purple color?? Also the My Faves I had saved had to be reloaded with the pictures and ringtones, but that's my only problem so far... I'm excited about the "no dropped calls possibility"!

Try to resend your service books. This sometimes happens. Hey, i also am experiencing the audio problem! Im talking with some1 and it sounds as if the call was dropped, and im like hello?? And they are still there!!! Really weird! The battery drain is killing me! As for everything else, its a lot smoother than any of the other os that i have ever tried and faster 2!

I had problems with this release. It seemed to make everything go slooooowwwweeerrrr. The dreaded hourglass seemed like it was always there, and it took forever for the menu's to come up. I always had to wait for that stupid hour glass to go away. Oh well, had to downgrade to .96, maybe it had to do with me being on AT&T. I had tried all the other options like clearing out apps, etc. Now it seems to go much faster with the .96 again.....oh well waiting for the next one.

Just curious if this software would work on a tmo USA pearl? And if so how to do the install.

it took me a day or two for everything to speed up--this is normal with upgrading. but i do agree, out of the couple upgrades I've done, this seemed to be the slowest at catching up. after that, it was quite fast!! i am on t-mo though.
