Why does my new pearl have dust under the screen? Has anyone had this problem and is there an easy fix? Only noticeable when the screen is not lit but drives me crazy! Thanks all..

Well there is a Cover over the actuall LCD, but if this is a New phone you just bought, you should be able to return it. If it is just a "New" phone to you , then you can take it apart and remove the, there are a couple places that can tell you how to and the tools need to to take it apart. A goole sreach turns up alot. A disscussion about the Curve is hear the tools should be the saem

Yeah, if you bought that new from a store, I would return it. Dust under the screen is a red flag that the device could have been a return or refurbished.

Yeah Insurace should not enter into it at this point, if you just got the device this would be a Factory mistake. If you have had it over a month, then you are on your own, You can file a warranty, but then you will get a company referb. Insureance is just for out of warranty things and involves a deductable. So you want to stay away from that unless needed
