    All I can say is try downloading and installing JL_Cmder, using the Wipe option then retrying the Load OS procedure above.

    now i can get my bb to connect on my other sony comp. What os upgrade is compatible with my unlocked bb pearl from t mobile? I need the os that fixes the trackball from shutting off the ringer.

    There is no update or upgrade to the T-Mo OS. People are installing OS's that are included in other carrier's Pearls [Rogers in Canada, Vodafone in Europe].

    People have erroneously been referring to these other operating systems as updates and upgrades.

    It's been reported throughout the Net that the other operating systems have different sets of bugs, problems [and some fixes and features].

    IMHO you should not download and install other operating systems until you have a thorough understanding of what each OS does and does not do.
