I just changed from the 8320 to 8120. At first I thought I was going to regret it but the 8120 is great.

Has anyone else changed from qwerty to suretype ?

I've never switched, but I've used them. My wife has the 8130. I'm amazed how well the sure type does. I get irritated with it when entering email addesses, or little things like that, but typing out an email or note or something works really well.

I could never switch though. I guess I'm too attached to my full keyboard. I hope you enjoy it though.

i have gone back and forth. the older suretype on the 8100 was rough, i couldnt stand it, had a curve for a long time love the qwerty, i just now went to an 8120 and i have now fell in love with the new suretype. i cant even really pinpoint what was changed, it just seems alot smoother.

The curve keyboard is way too small, and hard to type on. The Pearl Keyboard and the 88xx series phone is way better. The 8120 keyboard is even better than the 8100.

~Via BB 8120(wap.pinstack.com)~ I just picked up my 4th model of SureType BB yesterday, the 8120. Previously I had used the 7100t, 7105t (no longer in my possession) and 8100. Each keyboard has been better than the one prior.

However, this keyboard on the 8120 blows the others away. It feels like the keyboards of my 7100t and 7105t mixed together.

The keys are smooth like the 7105t but flat like the 7100t.

Last time I used a full keyboard BB was 4 years ago when I bought a 7730. I hated the keypad on that thing and was happy when a friend suggested I try the 7100 series. I have been a SureType addict since.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ I've just left the 8120 and now have the 8310. This is the first full qwerty BB...before the 8120 I had the 8100, and the suretype on the 8120 is really good. I am loving the 8310, and am glad I made the change-I've kept my 8120 though-no doubt I'll want to play on the suretype again soon.

I just sent back my 8120 in exchange for the 8320. I am lovin the 8320, but I still want the 8120. If I have to stick with just one it will probably be the 8320. I really appreciate the extra screen real estate of the curve, and the qwerty keyboard is surprisingly easy for me to type on with my gargantuan man-hands. I can't imagine that the wall paper on my 8320 would look good on the 8120, but thats just personal preference. I like both phones for all their differences. I guess you could say that I'm torn between the two. I'm sick of shipping phones off and waiting for them to arrive in the mail, so I'm most likely sticking with what I have now.
...but I'm a nut, so who knows what I'll end up with.
    I want both.

I've had the 8320 and I have to say I do like the 8120 better. The keyboard is so easy to get use to. I love it. ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

Call TMO early in the morning, so they can get your replacement out the same day. When I had to return our defective Curves, I actually was sent to the Blackberry techs and they were the ones that set me up with new phones that day, even before I sent them back to them. They were awesome about it. No worries...

How early would too early be? I think they are open 24/7, but I wonder what the best time is to talk to somebody reliable. I mean if I call now, am I going to get someone in an empty office, who is half asleep or angry cause they want to go home and go to bed?
