Have you tried your carrier? If not try there, or there are several companies that will do it for a fee.

    Re: Need Unlocking Codes

No one here can give that too you. Its a different number for every phone.

You'll need to pay an unlocking company (several of which are pinstack sponsors) to give you a number (they'll need your IMEI number from your phone to do it, since each code is unique).

Or if you have been a Tmobile subscriber for more than 90 days, call and ask, and they may be able to hook you up with the code.

    peace,
    sam

ask your carrier, I believe, as someone else mentioned on pinstack, that they are required by law to give it to you.

since your with t-mobile ask them (its free that way). you do have to be with them for a period of time and be in good standing.

    wizard, Welcome to PinStack.

Let us know if there is anything else we can do to help with this problem or your BB.

    almaft,

Cell Phones are normally locked to a specific carriers network, the one that sold it. If you need to change carriers (Not Roam) then it needs to be 'Unlocked'. Where to get the code necessary to do this is the topic of the thread

    Re: Need Unlocking Codes

I've been with T-Mobile for 3 years, and I dont plan on switching carriers. I've thought about having them give me the unlock code just so my pearl is unlock, but T-Mobile is the cheapest, and I've never had problems with them.

Although, has anybody heard of Cricket wireless? $45 for unlimited minutes/texts with no contract, but I'm not sure about a data plan. Anybody used cricket?

They don't offer blackberry service...and also you have to get one of their phones in order for it to work. So even an unlocked phone won't work. I don't think they run on a GSM network
