    alright....i have a customer who for 2 days now has not been able to recieve MMS on his pearl.

    heres what ive tried......
    --battery pull
    --removing the actual data and text feature from his account and adding it back
    --having him try to send a picture of himself(i found that idea from the 7100 forum)

    basically....if someone sends him a picture it thows him a message stating that "you are about the connect to the internet at a price of $0.01 per kb. press accept or cancel"

    if you hit accept nothing happens.....same as hitting cancel. i know for a fact hes on the correct data plan as the internet browser and medianet work perfectly fine. also....his internet is being charged correctly because ive been checking and hes not being charged anything but the 29.99 for the personal data plan. he also has our 19.99 for unlimited text.

    anyone seen this error before? ive spent a bit of time with tech support and they are dumbfounded.....figured maybe someone here has run into it before.

    delete the MMS service books (two) and resend

    If that does not work, call AT&T and tell them to take your MMS service off, and re-add it...

    hahaha...i am AT&T...lol

    i took off the features and added them back..hopefully that will do it.

    how would i instruct him to delete the service books though?

    options/advanced options/service books

    scroll to
    MMS Transport [WPTCP] & MMS Client [MMS]

    click menu, choose delete
    then log in to BIS and resend service books.

    ironically my friend Mike (stacker too) is an ATT rep, had the same issues 6 months ago and this fixed it.

    Have him/her do a sim swap, and then have him send and recieve an MMS on the other device. That will tell us right off the back if the phone is the issue, or if it's a possible network discrepancy. So if he still gets that error message with his active sim in another phone, (it can be any att.cingy device), then it's a network issue. You'll have to call us again so a ticket can be created for the customer.
