I have heard that it is just a sticker with color. I have also heard that the grahpic(if you put one on) wears off very quickly.

Never heard of this. Is it similar to the "skins" you can put on your PSP, Laptops etc.?

How would it look with at the hard case cover from maybe Seidioonline.com and a one of those sticker skins? I guess that way you'll still get the design without the skin wearing away.

    Yep.

There are a lot to check out on ebay.com and if you google "skins blackberry 8100" it should come up with some decent sites.

    Re: My Tego

I have one on my Motorola V360. It works well, and works as described.

It is a fairly thin layer of adhesive vinyl (like car decals are made from), that has your custom graphics printed on it.

They say on their website that Tegos last around 6 months. I've had mine on for about a year, and they are just now looking a little shabby. That includes me putting the phone into my pocket and pulling it out, every day, tossing it around, etc. Not babying it, for sure.

You need to be careful when applying it, because if it doesn't get a good stick right away, then it won't ever get a good stick. The fit was good, too. I was one of the first customers of the Tego for the V360, and it was still a good fit, despite being a new pattern.

They don't protect quite as well as other skins, (though they do help), and they cost a bit more, but you can customize them with your own images. It was worth it, for me, for the fun of it.

    peace,
    sam

They took my money and never sent the skin. I called multiple times and they always said the product was on the way or they had production problems etc. But I never received anything.

Do not give these people your money.
