~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ check available memory, also how many apps do you have open and running? That can affect it.

In the security options, memory cleaner. Then hit the menu button and clean now.

found in another thread, written by the user j_llama

How to get memory cleaner. Go to options > general settings > Enable password, content protection, and content compression > then press esc key and scrool to Save. You'll then be in (options >) security options. You should now have a new menu listing available called "memory cleaner". Scroll and click to the new menu. On "show icon on home screen" select Yes. You will now have an icon on your home screen that you can run anytime. It only takes about 3 seconds to run it. Things it cleans each time you run it:
    Address book cache.
    Certificate search.
    Certificate status manager.
    Clipboard.
    Content protection cache.
    Encrypted messages.
    Key store.
    PGP key search.
