    My Pearl is not charging anymore.
    I don't have insurance on this phone from Tmobile and I THINK the only way to fix this problem is through Blackberry warranty offered from BB. I was wondering if this was a difficult thing to do. If I do cover it with the warranty, where do I contact and how much would it cost me? Could Tmobile do anything if i take it to them?

    If your phone is still under the 1 year warranty with T-Mobile, it will be around $15 to get a replacement (with 3 day shipping). 7-10 day shipping is $9.99. You might be happy you don't because I tried to get them to send me a new SK3 when my SK2 stopped charging and they wanted to charge me $110. They tried to tell me it was because I was using my SIM card in a different phone than the one I had insured (I had my SIM in my first BB Pearl when I asked about having the SK replaced).

    I purchased my phone from Tmobile on December 2006
    I didn't buy any kind of protection.
    So you are telling me that I could go to the tmobile store and get a new phone for 15bucks?

    I am saying that they wanted me to pay $110 for a new SK because I was using the SIM card in a different phone.

    No. SHIPPING was $15. I got it via UPS 3 days after I called T-Mobile and told them what happened with my first Pearl.

    Call T-mo customer care @ 1-800-937-8997. they will attempt to solve your issue over the phone. If they are unable to resolve the problem, they should offer to replace the defective device at a cost of $9.99 to cover shipping (including you shipping the defective one back to them).

    Kevin I would just go to your local TMO store or contact them via email or phone. All the pearls come with a 1 year manufacturer warranty.

    Hey Kevin just make sure you have the .64 OS on your pearl. If you're going to try to return it. Better safe than sorry. They "may" not take it back if it has a different OS.
