emusic.com! It's a great service, and there's no pesky DRM to keep you from putting the songs on any device you want.

Rhapsody doesn't seem to recognize the Pearl as one of the players it will work with. Does anyone know 1) how to set it up to work with a BB or 2) any other service--hopefully not just indie music like emusic.com--that will work with the pearl? Thanks

IF you want to use music purchased on itunes, you have to burn a regular audio CD of the purchased songs. Once the disc is burned, turn around and reimport is as an MP3 cd. It's the only way to convert protected, purchased, AAC files to MP3. Once that's done, turn on mass storage mode, and drag the files straight into your MP3 folder from the iTunes window.

    Re: Music services?

There are 2 or 3 different issues here.
First - Using iTunes for you music organization is great although allofmp3.com is cheaper. Most itunes songs are m4p format which is fine. When you download a song the m4p file is in the library folder.
All you need to do is to go into the preferences for itunes and change the importing format to mp3, then you browse to the folder that has the m4p file and drag that into the library window, now you will have a new song with an mp3 extenstion. The pearl will only like songs encoded at 192kbs bitrate.
Second - if that will not work for you then there is a progam called TuneBite, it works great for un-protecting itunes files.
Third - you do not need to have a service that interfaces with the Pearl - the desktop manager has a Media services function for transfering files, you can also change the setting for the memory card so that it will show up in Explorer as a disk. At this point you can transfer the mp3's to the Pearl. Like I mentioned earlier if you are using iTunes then you will have a folder for each artist and album with the songs under that -- just drag and drop.

    Hope that is helpful

I wish the iTunes did work because I don't buy CDs anymore. It is cheaper for me to buy the one or two songs that I like on CD from iTunes.

It would have been nice if Apple and BlackBerry could have collaborated on this.

Have any of you guys checked out nuTsie?? They just enabled BB Pearl, Curve, and 8800 to stream your iTunes library. And it's free.
