    Music on Pearl

I have my songs downloaded to my pearl (actually on my card). The problem is I cant see them in the media player. I can only view/play them when I explore the card and play them that way. What do I need to do to get the player to notice them. And, YES, they are in the music folder...on Media card. Help Please!!!

okay, they are mp3 songs. Okay, I can explore my card and see the songs. But when I want to go to the media player and play them, etc, they are not there. It would be the equivilent of having in your my docs but not showing up on windows media player (on your computer). It is really weird. It is like i need the player to go and "check for" new songs loaded on the phone. Hopefully that clarifys the question.

Its your card unfortunately. I had the same prob when i had a 2gb card in my phone. When I upgraded to a 4gb, I was expecting to have the same issue, but wala....all the songs I could not see in media on my 2gb card, I could now see on my 4gb. It didn't bug me too much cause I actually started to like using the explore version better than going through the media player itself. So now with my new card where it shows all of my music in the media player, I still use the explore function to play my stuff.

The very existence of flamethrowers proves that sometime, somewhere, some1 said 2 thmslvs "U knw, I really want 2 set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close engh to get the job done".

Tell me about X Player. Where do you get it? How Much? Can it pull up PICS, VIds, etc like the stock BB player? Do you think if i go to XPlayer, I wont have to get a new card. FYI...mine is the 2GB too. WOnder if it is a problem with 2's.

    Re: Music on Pearl

You can download xPlayer here, and its free.....you can use it to play your videos and music, you can set playlists and its supports other videos formats (other than just AVI), you can't use it view photo's......and I'm not sure if it'll help you with your card issue!

    But I hope this helps!!
