I've been trying to figure out the messenger function of the pearl (sorry for so many questions today guys! but you all seem to be much faster and more knowledgeable than those at the at&t store!), and can't figure out if I'm able to use AIM or MSN mesenger on the Pearl. If anyone knows, I'd really appreciate it!

yeah you can definately use those applications. there are a few apps listed in the link in the post above that have programs that will let you use them at the same time instead of one or the other

    Re: MSN Messenger

There is a free app called Instant Messaging by Oz Communications for aim, msn and yahoo, that you can download through mediaNet but you only log into one program at a time and it uses sms's. Is important enough to wanna spend money on? and how much?

    Re: MSN Messenger

The OZ messenger uses SMS to send messages. If you don't have unlimited SMS plan, this can be pricy.
