    Question Mp3/Fee Questions

Ok , new to the bb , i got a 8100 pearl. Love it to death, haven't put it down all day.
    Few questions.
I dont have a data plan yet, if I got one would using , bb yahoo messenger, facebook bb, and google map, chew my KB's like mad?
    Also , mp3's.
Ive downloaded a few from crackberry.com and I can set them as my phone ring tune but not as indivdual ringers, is there a way to do this?
    Thanks fellow bb fans!

The ringtone has to be in the ringtone folder on a media card, if it's in the music folder you can't choose it, so copy it there and you're good to pick it.

TheBigNewt....YES it could be in the music folder, here's how!!

Select the contact you want to add a phone tune to,
    Menu>Edit
    Menu>Add Custom Phone Tune

it will probably automatically add a random tune, if so,
    go Menu>Change Option>Browse>Menu>Explore
from there you can search your entire media card, from Ringtones to your Music

    Hope this helps!!

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ Nutritional, if you plan on using google maps, get a data plan. It's a bit of a data hog due to the constant refreshing and if you're paying by the kb, you'll go broke. Best to download songs on your PC and transfer usind desktop manager to avoid kb usage. Jsut get yourself an unlimited data plan and then you'll be fine.
