If it's your media card giving issues try the reformat as Roger suggested. If you are having lots of other issues that could be OS related, then I personally would wipe with JL_cmder and reload OS.

Considering the issue was still there even with the media card removed I would say wipe with jl and do a clean reinstall. Sounds like something went bad with the OS and not the SDcard.

Sorry for the delay, got tied up. Would you recommend just a hand held wipe or a full wipe with jl?

Done a wipe with jl, and so far no problems.
