    what's the difference between MMS and SMS? I tried MMS and SMS. Both have the same compose window and such.

    Aidan, SMS (short message service) is for text messaging only. MMS (multi-media message service) is used for sending photos, etc. Their compose windows will be identical. This is normal.

    Oh cool, so if I send pics I will have to use MMS. Is this covered under the data plan or the text message plan?

    I would recommend checking with the current Cingular plan that you have. I'm sure you can do this online. Just to be safe, otherwise, it could get expensive.

    Ok just spoke with the rep and she said I will be charged for both. One send will be charged towards the Text message and the size of the data will be charged towards the data plan. Since I have the unlimited data plan I don't have to worry about the size, but the I should worry about the 200 text message limit i have.
