    Missing Files

I've been trying to get mp3's on my Pearl but I'm unsure where they are going. I've tried using the phone's search feature but it doesnt seem to be showing up.

Plugging it in using the USB and it pop-up's with H:/ drive and I drag and drop my mp3's into the /music file.

What am I doing wrong here?

[EDIT] Nm, did a soft reset and the files finally showed up. Yay!

    anbrown,

Are you using an SD Card? If so did you format it with your phone? That will set up music / video / picures / ringtone folders. IF you Enable Mass Storage Mode your desktop will treat your phone like a removeable drive and you can copy your mp3 files right to the card. You can also download the new desktop manager with sp2. It has Roxio Media Manager built in and can transfer and convert songs and videos.

Let us know if you need nore help and welcome to the stacks!

Well you can take the battery out, or you can go to this link, download Softreset and you can do it with just the click of your wheel instead of taking the back off and pulling the battery.....

Yes, I am using a 1GB media card (somewhat new to BB world). What I did was plugged my phone directly to the computer and accessed it through the blackberry folder I dragged 2 musics files to my music folder it says it copied it there.. I actually see them on my computer in the folder, but they are NOT on my phone. I hav enable mass storage as well. I have no idea where they are...
