    MicroSD/MiniSD

I'm in the process of looking for a memory card for the soon to be released 8100 and I've seen MicroSD and MiniSD thrown around as what will be supported. I know at least 1Gig will be supported, so I'm going to go with that. However is there a difference between Micro and Mini? Also, any recommendations as to manufacturer I should consider? Or cheapest place to purchase? I know many of the stackers are converts to BB and even still use this type of technology in other smart phones. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks!

Micro SD cards are primarily used on cell phones. The only difference between a "Mini" and a "Micro" is the size. I prefer sandisk as a manufacturer. I think the highest they come in is 1GB, but I'm not sure...

    Re: MicroSD/MiniSD

youve got standard sd which i think most everyone knows what that is then you have mmc which is the same shape but a lot thinner in size. then you have mini or micro sd which is a lot smaller than the sd but it uses an adapter that it slides into and the adapter is the same size and shape as a standard sd card

MicroSD is also known as Transflash. Different than MiniSD.

    Re: MicroSD/MiniSD

Micro SD Card is what u need (mini is totally diff) if u have the latest OS (.64) then your phone supports 2GB otherwise 1GB.

In retail stores Id say go to Frys or Best buy (they have good sale deals on em sometimes)

PS The other day I was at a FRYS store and I noticed they had a 4GB MICRO SD Card. Weird, I never saw 4GBs but hey....

Meritline.com Has a 1GB kingston for only 16bucks plus free shipping, I just order 4, for the same price I would get for one at local electronic stores.

    Re: MicroSD/MiniSD

I just got in my 2GB Transcend microSD from Newegg. $26.49 with the $2.99 rush and $4.99 shipping. Got here in 3 days and my TMO recognized it right away. It is definitely faster than the device memory. Time to load music and vids!!!
