~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)try resending your service packets.if you have the data plan, go to options>advanced options>host routing table>press the options button (next to the green call button), then press register now. Your instant messaging app should show up. I also suggest that you get jivetalk, a great instant messaging app that has all the major instant messaging clients. Hope this helps.

Also, try opening your browser bookmarks, open the T-Zones Links folder and see if it's in there under "Install INstant Messaging"

You know the OZ messangers use up your text messages right? It's not data. Just letting you know.

Yep. This is true. I'm on the phone with T-Mobile as I write this and they do ding you an SMS message for each incoming and outgoing message sent via AIM, ICQ, MSN or Yahoo! with this OZ client. Sucks, but it's true. Looks like I'll be using Gtalk and the 3rd party Yahoo! client from now on and uninstalling OZ. They don't even disclose this on their site .. nor do they tell you when you sign up for the BB data package. Kind of a rip. The one nice thing is that the tech support person put back 100 out of the 468 SMS messages I used without knowing it.
