Every so often I delete all my old messages (to gain speed), I have some rather old messages that would never delete... (they occured when my plan was messed up and they never sent proplery so they have a red x beside them), Now I can't seen to get rid of them, any advice?

Did you try a battery pull? Usually works for me
The very existence of flamethrowers proves that sometime, somewhere, some1 said 2 thmslvs "U knw, I really want 2 set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close engh to get the job done".

Try clearing the appropriate Message database on the Device side of the Advanced Backup and Restore screen.

    1. Connect your BB
    2. Open Desktop Manager
    3. Open Backup/Restore
    4. Click Advanced
    5. On the right side, select the message database for the type message that you can't get rid of
    6. Click on Delete

Let us know if this works.
