Does anyone know about memory cards (SansDisk 8 GB) for the Blackberry 8120 (Pearl)? Do they work well? Do they hold music? Can I replace my Ipod with this? How much can it support (4GB, 8GB, 16 GB)?

I had a 2 GB card in my 8120. I am waiting for my new 8 GB to be delivered.

    1971,

    1. 8120 operates on 4.3 which supports 8gb micro sd cards
    2. SanDisk seems to be a very reliable sd card for BB's (not all brands are)
    3. If you plan to load media on your BB a sd card is pretty much a must have! You can load music and video as well as store photos on the media card

    Hope this helps!

Just an FYI for those that care:

Sandisk makes pretty much the best memory cards. their read and write speeds are always top notch. Quality of the cards are superb. And they are not overpriced or anything like that. Assuming that it is a genuine sandisk and not an eBay knock off of course.

I swear by sandisk, and they haven't failed me yet.

How does carrying a spare under the battery work out? Are you worried that it might get hot or something? Does it fit good? Do you have a loose battery cover, and if so, does the spare card under the battery make for a better fit?

Yeah it will do all those things and more. Music videos ringtones pictures. You can use it as a storage hub. I want to get a larger card for both my devices. And 8gb for my curve and a 4gb for my pearl.
