I'm no expert, but I does appear that BlackBerry relies on a hard-coded file structure. When you drag & drop files through mass storage, your music files need to be in a file as follows:

    E:\blackberry\music

When your point your bb media app to music, that is the file structure it's looking for... if you've loaded your music in a different file, or have just put is straight into the memory card, I don't think the bb will see it. Like I said, I'm no expert so I could be wrong about that

    Re: Media Card Problem

It's not a card problem - you're using the same exact card that I have and I've not had a single problem - other than my getting familiar with how the bb sees the files in contrast to a more familiar windows or mac machine.

    Re: Media Card Problem

When I loaded stuff on my media card and put it in the phone it didn't show up. When I checked it on the Pc they were still there and worked but I did find that the phone had added folders for video music pics and ringtones. I moved my data into the correct folders and everything worked great. I don't think the BB see's the data if not in there correct folders

Just to get the dumb stuff out of the way. Make sure the mp3 files you are using are drm free; ie. You didn't buy them at itunes or other online music store.
