    Managing bookmarks

Is there any way to erase some of the bookmarks and folders that come pre-installed on the 8100 browser. For example, I have np use for "t-zones," and I find it annoying that I have to navigate around it. Should I just switch browsers?

I switched to Opera Mini, which I like to use for regular website browsing. However, It has it's own set of default bookmarks.

As of yet, no one has found a way on the older Blackberrys. Im guessing its the same for the new 8100. Believe me, there are some I'd like to get rid of also.

I did noticed that the old t-zones folder was transfered when I used the "Switch Device" Wizard... I wonder if there is a file that controls what is transfered/installed in the bookmarks section and if that could be modified?

if they would just stay minimized I wouldn't mind them so much. at least opera's defaults can be changed/deleted/moved.

Yes, most of them. I'm yet to figure out how to delete "tribes"

    Re: Managing bookmarks

On my T-Mobile UK Blackberry 8700g I can delete all the default T-Zones bookmarks by deleting one of the service books: WAP2 browser Config [BrowserConfig]. No side effects I've noticed (other than the bookmarks go), but as I don't use T-Zones anyway I wouldn't know if it killed that too. I use the Blackberry Internet Browser (Web'n'Walk branded by T-Mobile UK)

The real downside of this is that I can't stop the service book from being resent automatically periodically - which means the bookmarks return :-(. At least it's always at the top of the list of service books...
