Make ringtune last longer when receiving a call

Hi, everyone need to know how to set up ringtunes last longer when recieving a call, my ringtunes only last about 10 to 15 seconds and I know that my tune usually last longer then 10 to 15 sec.. What is the default for the BBP ringtune to end. Can someone give a brief detail how to make it last longer. Thanks

Who is your carrier? For TMO you dial **61*<voicemail number>**<desired delay in seconds>#
    For example --
**61*18056377243**30# you want to change it to 30 seconds.

Believe this works with all carriers, check your Vmail phone number and try it...

I've try that but it saying call forwarding no reply
what menu do you go to. I use the call log to input the info. Can give a step by step, I'm with TMO.

You enter it just like a phne call.

I beleive that is TMO speak for call forwading no reply goes to voice mail at the # you entered. Call you cell and see what your delay is now....

things to remember: the long number is the number your phone dials when you check your vm, i dont know if this is different for each person. and the last two digit number is the number of seconds before redirecting to vm.

Folks... I just took another look at the original post and I think we veered off topic here. fyaaj asked about making ring tones longer...I read somewhere that custom ringtones need to be in device memory to avoid this problem....fyaaj, if you are still following this thread try that and let us know if it helps!

How long is your current delay before going to voice mail? Can you call your mobile and time it?

Yes I have a custome ringtune and it in the media device it also my default ringtune that I've been using.
when I get a call it only last 10 to 15 sec.. and if I'm a little late answere it it went straigt to my voice mail. Just would like to add a few more sec. to extend the ringer it would really help. Not the tune itself because I'm sure that my ringtune is pretty long and it about a minute. when I input the **61*18053333333**30# in the call log I'm getting a mess.. saying Call forwarding no reply forwarding to 18053333333.

    fyaaj,

When you call your mobile now how long is the time before it goes to voice mail? Can you call yourself and time it?
