    Arrow Major Error BB8100 HELP!!

    Hey all, I am having a MAJOR problem with my phone.

    It will periodically, when turned on, flash a red light, then give me a dim screen with a half full battery and a red slash through it.

    This will happen when I go to press a button, try to re-charge the phone, enable bluetooth, etc. etc.

    It doesnt happen all the time, but when it does happen, I am without a phone for a minimum of 16 hours. I have removed the battery and replaced it to reboot and that does nothing. Ive put in a new battery bought from the store I got the phone at, and that hasnt changed anything.

    If someone here hasnt had this problem or know how to correct it, my next move is to replace the phone. So I am really hoping you all can give me some guidance.

    I am in major need of some HELP!!! Pinstack has helped me in the past and Im in dire straights right now, and know that you guys will give all the help you can.

    I fear that may be hardware related but if I was having that issue I beleive I would try to reinstall my oprating system to see if that helped. I would certainly try that before I bought a new phone....for info on this take a look at #14 on Reds FAQs.

    Assuming that your batt is oem... I also think reinstalling might help. Sounds like a glitch.

    Hey all, gotta give thanks for the help. My resolution was to go back to the store, and had the guy there look at it...he did the normal thing, changed out the battery, tried it with several different brand new batteries and came to the conclusion.....ITS HOSED. I couldnt reload an OS if I had to! He gave me the warranty repair information phone number, I got home and called it, after going through a bit of them having me pull the battery then replace it, and the problem still there (No crap) they decided to tell me that this was a problem that seems to be popping up more often now.
    In conclusion, I am getting a brand new 8100 in approx. 5 working days..
