    Mail Issues

Sudden development on my pearl. In the mail function, email no longer shows up w/ a envelope graphic, but a folder. Additionally, the device will not delete email. I hit delete, asks the confirmation, then doesn't delete anything. Any thoughts?

    Thanks,

I haven't seen that one before, when was the last time you pulled the battery?

I seem to remember something about this. I think it may have been corrected by doing a backup/and immediate restore. This may just be a figment of this old memory, but it won't hurt anything to try. Or it may just have been a sync, I can't really remember.

    Hope this helps.

    Re: Mail Issues

I have had this same issue and per Tsupport the "messages" db has become corrupt. Solution is to reload the handheld with the lastest handheld software. Using Backup/restore clear the "messages" and then do a back up. After you reload the handheld you can restore from backup to the handheld. If you want the user to receive the last x number of days or x number of messages set the correct prepopulation and reactivate the handheld.
