I thought there was a beep? I recall when my battery was low it gave me notification. I could be wrong though. I constantly charge mine.

I always get a beep and a red light when my battery is low. I think I may need to upgrade to an extended battery. Do you have any applications running that my be using a lot of the battery power? How often do you charge your battery? I normally have about 40-50 percent left at the end of the day, but I just go on and charge it at night.

If I remember right, from the only time this happened, it beeped, displayed a dialog box telling me that the battery was low and it was going to turn off the radio and turned off the radio. Of course that dropped the call I was on, but it prevented the permanent damage that can be caused to a LI-ion battery by taking the charge too low.

    Hope this helps.

My battery doesnt keep dyin, its just that when it does die, No notificatin what so ever.

Another thing thats gay is that when i turn it back on, i have to charge it like 15 Mins to turn radio function back on. No txtin or talkin w/ phone on charger for 15 Mins!!! The hell!?

That make me wanna go cop a dash, sidekick or somethin

With bluetooth on and with normal usage my battery is down to 55% by the evening. That's after a full charge in the morning on my way to work. I check my battery level 3-4 times a day and it usually makes me nervous that I'll run out of juice during an important call! Luckily, i always remember to hook it up to my laptop at work for an hour or so in order to sync my Pearl and charge it.

Once it dies you have to give the battery enough charge to power up. Even connecting to the charger it won't let you power up the phone. Using the phone actually sucks a lot of juice from the battery. My suggestion is to get a bigger battery if you keep letting it die.

Seidio has a good selection. It seems like you are a heavy user. I would go for the 2400 mAh.

    Good luck

Man I guess I'm the only one that can barely make it to 4 o'clock. I message and email a LOT and talk a little. Its a rare day that I can get through without a booster charge.
