there are a few aim programs out there
ramble is free but i never had much luck with it:
    http://wireless.sra.com/ramble/

jive talk is my favorite but its like 20 bucks, well worth it in my opinion:
    www.beejive.com

IM+ is expensive but they opened a beta up for their newest version not too long ago, i dont know much about that but here is a link to the thread:
    http://blackberryforums.pinstack.com...ger_v_5_a.html

yak on is another that used to be free and i never really fell in love with, its free for 15 days now and then its 20 bucks, more info on it at:
    www.yak-on.com

im sure there are others out there too, just comb the threads and youll find pleanty of info on all of the messenger apps out there

whoops, i forgot to add, that all of these messengers use your blackberry internet service for data transfer, you will not incure any sms/text costs for using these programs, and as long as you have the blackberry unlimited plan youre good to go

I have a question is there an aim that charges you per IM as a text message? or it will always be data?
