    Liquid Issues

I have a blackberry pearl. The other day I accidently dropped it in the toilet. The phone froze and when I tried to turn it on, the pearl will stay solid green and sometime the LED will be red. I waited a couple of hours and it went on fine. Then a couple of minutes later it froze and the same happened. Then, it went back on and it stayed like that for a couple of hours until last night. It went back to a solid green and it stays like that. I really need my phone back, any suggestion?

Maybe you should try taking it apart and letting it dry out for a day or two. Usually when a cell phone gets wet, its not the water alone that makes it act up, its from turning it on while while being wet. Be patient and hopefully this issue will go away. You can also try this method: http://blackberryforums.pinstack.com...oses_date.html

If it's still acting up, might be time for a new BB.

Yes -- remove the battery and let it dry as long as possible (as in days). Set it in the sun if you like but dont power it up until completely dry!
