    Has anyone had a problem where they have activated the LED indicating network service (when it blinks green) then when recieving a call then hanging up.... it doesnt blink anymore until you:

    Do a soft reset
    or
    go to the setting and reset the feature

    Mine is doing this i found out

    Any suggestions?

    Turn it off... seriously. It's really a very useless LED indicator. Turn it off, and if it solves the problem, then you've got your answer as to whether the LED has anything to do with your issues.

    Are you using the Rogers' OS? If so, I thought I read that one bug with it is that the indicator light stays on, stays off, stays red, stays green, etc.

    Otherwise do the battery reboot.

    I have T-mobile, not rogers

    I did the battery reboot and its still doing it

    sometimes i get a error when starting the deivce

    something " javascript.error or somthing...

    I don't have that problem. JadedBerry, I find it useful because it blinks red when I have a new message. This is important to me because at times I need to silence my BB, even turn vibrate off, and it is great to be able to just glance at the light and see if I have a message or not.

    Your LED should blink when you have a new message. I have mine off and when a message comes in, it will blink red.

    I agree with john, I never have the service light on, I find it annoying while trying to sleep. As to why the service light is not staying on, I have no clue, maybe a bad phone?

    try resetting your handset as far as a master reset?

    I also have the same issue, I am on cingular and have not figured it out yet, it will come back by itslef if you receive a call i have found
