Huh, now that you mention it, when I type myver, my beta shows up as 4.6.0.35! Interesting! Think I'll go with this official version.

Greetings all, I just sucessfully downloaded the new upgraded OS for my 8220 running on Tmobile. I did a backup before I loaded the new OS and I thought everything was fine. I now see that all my IM clients have been removed as well as everything I added to the download section such as the Pinstack link. Any ideas as to what I may have done wrong?

JUst one more thing to add, the clock no longer is showing on the external screen. It simply shows Tmobile. Any ideas?

Ok, I went through the process again and loaded the OS a second time. I had gone too quickly and neglected to click on the software I wanted to add to the phone. I clicked on the items I wanted and everything is back to normal.

Just some advice, when you have loaded the new OS, scroll down the softeware listed and make sure you check the items that you want such as ICQ, BB Maps, etc.

Do a battery pull and see if it corrects it.

    i updated tonight to .180 from .174

i had lagging before. sometimes the hourglass would go for almost a full minute. i was hoping this would cure that. i have cleared the logs, have 3 third party apps and 2 gb of memory used on a 4 gb card. the calendar was acting weird at first, but seems to be good now after deleting and syncing with outlook, then changing default services calendar to my default email. i figured the backup would restore those settings. guess not. i still have to zoom twice to get to a visible font size to view pinstack. this is driving me nuts! i miss my curve keyboard and larger screen but i love the size and screen resolution on the 8220.
