    thanks,
    I appreciate this.
I will try to run diff on .81 and .97 folders.
At least to see if there is timestamp and size difference between files.

It worked for me. I have a vzw pearl. It seems i have more memory free now around 17-18MB and not much leakage so far. I def. say go for it if you have a vzw pearl with issues.

oh and also if you use vzw, make sure you do an OTA (*228 option 2) after the upgrade. Mine was having issues browsing on the web afterwards. This fixed my problem. The browsing experience seems to be alot smoother with this upgrade and the on screen cursor seems to work alot better.

how do you tell what version is on your 8130? Is there a KB shortcut like on the 8830 (alt shift h)?

Time for a new OS and I have had this device for like six hours, lol.

Guess thats what happens when using DM 4.3 and I get the no additional apps found error when trying to install goodies.

Something else I noticed that was different from the Verizon OS
(huge difference for me, might be minor for others)

With VZW's OS, when I pressed the Standby Key at the top of the device, it would then ask me to confirm that i want to put the BB into standby mode. This ticked me off, as my 8100 went directly to standby after the button.

The OS from U.S. Cellular seems to have resolved this, my Standby button works "normal" again. No need to confirm anymore. YAY!!

weird ... I somehow have 4.3.0.97 already on my VZW 8130 and I just got it last week and I know my friend didnt load it on. Maybe I did somehow during my transfer of ownership from my friend to me. I gotta check what file i downloaded for the Pearl OS when I upgraded DMs.
