Nice Find.. Thanks for the headsup
Install went smooth, no apparent changes yet.
Seems a bit peppier... but don't they all??
Well, one change I noticed is when playing music, the music is louder and clearer, with the volume set to lower levels. For example, I have the volume set to middle, and the music sounds like it did on earlier OS versions when set to max.
Any one notice anything else?
If anyone is brave enough to put it on vzw phone, please let me know. I am always nervous messing with them.
heh... been upgrading VZW 8130s all day in the background.
so far have 7x done at my office... nothing but smooth sailin...
Loaded it here for Telus. So far so good!
Gave up on Rogers! Went to Telus!
After this OS update I can't load other vendor's themes to my BB. I deleted the vendor.xml and edited BlackBerry.alx appropriately, yet the only theme Desktop Manager allows me to add is the Sprint theme. Anyone else have this issue?
I was able to load the Sprint theme, and that is the only one I care for.
My 8130 is totally unbranded and on Cellular South.
Any other noticeable changes or updates? I guess my question is. Is it worth the work? Any memory bleed fix or ability to sych multiple calendars with outlook?~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~
Thanks for the update. It works great!
How about pic and vid messages? Anyone tried this update on AllTel yet?
No big noticeable differences in 4 hours.
Found a new search option, or at least I'd never noticed it before, Search by Subject.
