Is your card full? I remember my 2gb giving me some issues when I filled it, would take about 5 minutes to load my pictures, after I cleared a bunch of stuff off it went to about a minute or so.

I know when you use the explore option it doesn't give you thumb nails unless you tell it to.

I dumped 1,643 songs to my 8GB card, and it took a couple of hours for it to scan all of them on my 8320. It's a real PITA... I go through this whenever I update the music on my card. If found that its best to do that right before I head off to bed so it can do the scanning while I'm snoozing!

I just did a transfer of files from my PC to my mem card through windows... I did not use the media manager with the desktop manager.

It was pretty quick for me.

Got the new phone today with .151 os on it and it took 2 minutes to scan media...

with 174 it took around 30 minutes.

im guessing there is a bug with 174 and the mem cards.
