First off, I know there are many others who have posted about this error, and all of them I have read. I still am screwed.
It started out with the JVM 102 Error.
I did the javaloader -usb wipe thing
I also installed the most recent Desktop Manager software.
The first main problem is no matter what I do I cannot get Desktop Manager to realize my BB is hooked up.
And then to make matters worse I cannot seem to find the OS for my BlackBerry.
I went to Sprint and they had me download...BlackBerry Desktop Manager, AGAIN.
Still no OS.
Please HELP ME.
I love my BlackBerry, but as of right now I want to dip it in liquid nitrogen and then take a hammer to it
(even if that voids my warranty).
Don't do the liquid nitrogen thing just yet......first, to find your sprint OS, go here, and download the one that says "device" or "wireless handheld" software...
After you download and run the OS, try to see if the desktop manader will work, sometimes even if it appears to not see your BB, open the Application loader, sometimes that makes ot recognize it, but if it won't....
try this thread here:
Good luck, post if you have more trouble.....
Here is a complete list of Device OS links. you will be using the US Cellular version. Once you have downloaded and then installed it on your desktop delete the vendor.alx file
You need BOTH Device Manager software AND Desktop Manager software installed before your BB will be recognized.
just like azstar said, don't pull the pin on the bomb just yet... just be patient and make sure you have both softwares installed.
As of right now I am redownloading everything just to make sure.
I will give you an update or not to tell you if I used the garbage disposal or a hammer.
And oddly it works better than previously.
Glad you didn't have to break out the hammer!~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~
