    Anyone get these games to work? I chose the Pearl as my phone and tried to OTA download a game, but it wouldnt play.

    Just tried the trivia game and it worked on the 8700...Same trivia game as listed on getjar.com

    Are you trying to download the .jar or .jad file on your pearl?

    Keep in mind also, while most of the games are java based, it's not a guarentee that every single game will work on java devices.

    One example is I have games and programs that I have downloaded onto the Pearl and they will work, however if I try and download them on the 8700, they won't work...So, it's kind of hit and miss for programs and games that aren't specifically made for the Berries.

    Yeah I finally got one to work but it was too choppy to play so I deleted it. I'm downloading them OTA.

    Over the air. It means you don't have to download the program to your computer then transfer it. There's a URL or link that downloads it directly to your phone.

    You can download OTA by going to the website on your phone and simply click a download link. Usually the files are in .jad i believe.

    thanx...But as a developer i have 2 upload my game in to my server machine....So i need more detail regarding the OTA transfer to the BlackBerry Device...Becas i hear that OTA transfer of files for other devices are in Zip format containd jad/jar, but for balckberry we it wont accept the jar, so that we have to convert that file to cod...wat my doubt is in which way / format we have to give the files....plz...reply me soon
