    Here is an odd one. I have the 8100 on a BES account. For a while my BB seems to get into this odd state where if I delete emails on the phone, they go away from the exchange server.. but if I delete through outlook, they stay on my phone. Even if I hit the reconcile now, it does no good.

    Our BES admin has reset my account, I delete all emails and start fresh.. it seems to work maybe a brief period, but then i am out of sync again.

    Any thoughts?


    It only seemed to happen once I setup my BB email account. I do have it set to sync with desktop in the settings, but still no luck.

    torgerson - on your bb - in e-mail options -> Email Reconciliatioon.

    Verify you have the following setup:

    Delete on: Mailbox & Handheld
    Wireless Reconcile: On
    On Conflicts: Mailbox Wins

    Torgerson, if you delete them on Outlook and your deleted items are emptied relatively quickly, when it goes to reconcile with your BB, it won't be able to reconcile because it won't find the item in both places so it will leave it on your BB. Could this be the problem?

    I am have a simuliar problem after yesterdays BB outage, the emails delivered just after BB came back up, I cannot delete my BES emails that were sent just after the outage. I can delete my BIS emails and all other BES emails, just not the BES that came in after RIM fixed the outage.
    Hummmmm?
