This may be a dumb question, but is your network a GSM network?

The next step may be to do a complete wipe (using JL_Cmder or similar) and reinstalling from scratch. Try the OS install one more time - > did you use the same OS version as was on the phone or download a new one?

I think it was the same os. JL_Cmder....? I will do the instal one more time, and see what happens. The last one I did only took 10 minutes max. How do I re-install now that I have deleted that vedor file? I just re-installed the .exe os and plugged BB into computer and it did not prompt me to do anything. is there any way I can delete the os on the phone then re-install? Thanks again.

Ok - here is the link to the download...this should wipe your pearl clean.

    BACK UP FIRST!!!!

If you dont want to go to this drastic measure yet try installing a diferent OS without the vendor file. Since you used the same OS as was already on the phone I doubt you actually accomplished anything.

NO DICE Ok, I def. uninstalled then reinstalled the OS. It took about 15-20 minutes, so it was done properlly this time. ??? I am thinking it is because it is an unlocked phone, but I am not sure. The only other thing I can think of is with my sim card. Is there anyway to see if my sim card is not a new enough sim card. It is probablly 3-4 years old. I will get a new sim card and try that. Let me know if you have anything else I should try.

    ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

Hi this happened to my wife's pearl last week. All calls were going to voicemail and a missed call appeared in the call log. We are on O2 in the UK and they said that the phone was faulty.

I played around with the settings for the ringer. Under " phone" there is a flag for "do not disturb". If this is set to Yes then it goes straight to voice mail. Change to No and you will be able to receive calls.

    Hope this resolves your issue.

Re: Issue: Phone goes to voicemail.

hi resolved my problem already and it seems that the sim was the reason why it was doin the straight to voicemail thing. i headed to a tmobile store and got a new sim and it works great now. so i guess u could just go to a cingular store and they could probably set it up for u. im not from cingular so i ono how it really works with that service. good luck with everything
