    Is there any way...

    to delete all the contacts in the address book at once if you do not have the cradle? I bought this phone off my close friend but he broke his cradle and has about 400 numbers in there that i dont want. But i just cant seem to find the option to delete them all at once. Thanks for your help!

    I would suggest you wipe the handheld.
    Options>Security>General>Menu button>Wipe Handheld.

    That will clean up contacts, email accounts, etc. then you can start fresh with your own.

    Wait it says message service and other services will be disabled... Does that mean i wont be able to text?

    This will restore your BB to the factory settings. If you have any issues with calls or messaging afterwards just resend your service books.

    No need to applogize....And I am not really qualified to explain the technical aspect of them but suffice it to say that they "make things work" on your BB.

    You did not include your provider info in your profile but on TMO, for example, you can resend your service books from the same page as you use to set up your email to push to your BB. If you are struggling you can also call your provider and they can resend.

    So if i wipe the handheld it should just reset it to factory settings and then i can just load my contacts from my sim card and the phone will be fine?

    You will need to reregister your BB on to your providers network, this is part of what sending your service books does, there are two steps really, but I don't want to confuse you with specifics just yet.

    Are you just using this device as a phone or did you enable the BB features through your provider?
