    Re: Internet Icons disappeared

Which software? There is 2 different programs there.

1 Desktop Software (most current version serivce pack 2 with or without Roxio)
2 Handheld Software (your current version or and updated one)

    You will need these both.

EDIT: if you're getting that error then you don't have the Handheld Software installed.

I had the same problem last night. Just be patient with the install (it takes awhile) and don't unplug until you are done or you'll brick your device. Good luck!

AlL you have to do is simply go to options, then advanced options, n then to host routing table and then finally press the option key after entering host routing table and select Register now.

RESTART YOUR HANDSET AND YOU CAN HAVE YOUR iNTERNET iCON BACK ON YPUR HOMESCREEN.

Probably not in this case. A lot of Pearls released through AT&T were shipped with bad Desktop Manager software, which removed the Browser functions of the phone after the first sync. Downloading and updating the DM and the OS is the only way to fix it when this is the problem.
