interesting series of problems (SOS, SIM CARD, No SMS)

Yesterday I was charging my pearl at my desk, after about 1hour of charging I unplugged it and walked away. As I was walking through my parking lot I was about to make a call I looked down and it said SOS on it, then SIM CARD ERROR.

I power cycled the phone, it cam back all normal after the reboot.

but for the next 30min all my outbound SMS were in pending mode. So I left my phone off for about 10min, and when I turned it back on all was fine and my pending messages all get sent at once.

it has been stable for the past 24hrs, so I am not overly concerned but thought I would share the story is case anyone had similar experiences.

This used to happen to me when I would barely bump my Pearl.
I since taped the SIM card down in place and it has yet to happen again.

Yeah happend to my pearl also, it seems like rim really speeded with making of it, it has a lot of hardware "bugs" like the backcover, unstable sim card holder......
