Defeat is not the worst of failures. Not to have tried is the true failure.

Okay, so the person I thought would know someone that knew someone, doesn't know anyone that can tell me a date about the 4.2 OS, but they do know someone who knows Kevin Bacon.

This is a site to check for OS http://software.se.t-mobile.com/ you may have it already.

haha sorry about the delay guys!!!

alright first of all "5" or MyFaves will be released nationwide on Oct. 2nd

    some markets already have it

the new blackberry coming out is the 8700 with MyFaves. trust me, you will want a phone will MyFaves

its perhaps the best feature we will have. 10 bucks a month, with 5 numbers you can call unlimited (any number, lanline also) and you will be able to change each number once a month

as for all the new blackberries coming out, i cant say much. I wasnt even allowed to show my pearl before the day it came out because Tmobile is the only carrier with this type of BB, and im just a rep, i dont get all the info i would like to have

also, one other thing, this phone is about to be blown out of the water with a new phone coming out

its a new pocket pc, but its amazing, trust me, makes our phones look funny

Question Re: Ima Tmobile rep! ask away

    Mr. T-Mobile Rep,

Is it true that if you shut off your phone for at least 10 minutes a day you'll get better reception?

    Thanks.

I've heard of shutting your phone off for 10 minutes a day. It was told to me by a Tmo rep. It was when we were having problems with one the Motorola V360's. And you know what? It works! At least on Razr's and V360's. Don't know about Blackberrys tho. I've tried it with the Blackberry, but honestly saw no difference. Hope that answers your question pcbobsledder.

While I have not heard of that, I remove my battery once each day.

I figure since the 8100 is a mini-computer, taking out the battery refreshes and resets the processor the same as when I do such to my desktop and notebook computers.

There was a post, sanfrancisco, awhile back about taking the battery out to much. Apparently its supposed to cause JVM errors. Again, I don't know if there is any truth to this, just wanted to pass on what I have heard.

Shutting a phone down once a day is recommended, heard that ever since I got in the cellular business.

I'm Ms T-Mobile, and I don't think it's true. About the only thing you might be doing by turning off the phone is for it to register to a tower nearer to you, as opposed to hanging out on the tower where you work, or visit or travel.

I live in Bellevue, WA, HQ for T-M and I get one bar of service in my apart living room, so the 8100 is parked in the bedroom and I have my bluetooth on. But the prices are very good so I don't see changing carriers. lol
