    Re: IM+ All Messenger

I purchased and have used IM+ for the last year+, and am currently running the Beta of version 5.

I have to admit I prefer Jive Talk. Much faster to load, more reliable.

Ive allways been a great fan of IM+ , Jive is very good as well ,I think IM+ has the edge, but is not a bad idea to have both apps on your BB , my thoughts.

Currently I am using the one that comes on the phone to begin with. Does either of those listed here allow you to sign on to more then one at a time? Right now I can only be on aim and have to sign off say if I want to get on to yahoo or msn.

Both do. That's why they are liked so well.

    Re: IM+ All Messenger

Let me outline that now you can use new and improved IM+ v. 5.2.
    • Multiaccount support (use multiple accounts of the same service simultaneously),
    • Baterry life extended due to contact list and dialog formation optimization,
    • Auto response message added in auto-away,
    • Shortcut for Mute Sounds added,
    • Enable/Disable missed events,
    • Time for Online/New messages’ notifications extended,
    • Exchange messages in any language installed on BlackBerry
    • Send Files to your IM contacts (OS 4.2 and higher)
    • Send cheap SMS worldwide from IM+, just 5 cents to US, Canada, UK and most other countries,
    • Keep IM+ active when using other BlackBerry apps.
You can download and try a 7-day free trial from http://www.shapeservices.com/en/prod...im&platform=bb

    Re: IM+ All Messenger

munkee, IM+ has nothing to do with SMS service. IM+ is using Internet/Web GPRS, 3G, CDMA, UMTS or WiFi connection and you have to pay for amount of information you are sending and receiving.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~will iM+ be supporting the pinstack messenger in the future. Its easier on one screen than going in and put. Also when I go to address book to SMS the whole sop closes down to desktop menu? I have reported but no comeback only acknowledgement!

    Re: IM+ All Messenger

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~For some reason I was using the messenger that came with my phone for AIM/Yahoo/ICQ for over 6 months without a problem. I happen to b on the AT&T network and it suddenly stopped working and continues to give me an error message"unexpected exception 0>=0" even the company doesn't kno what to do, I have deleted and reinstalled but I was happy with the free messenger and don't want to have to pay. N e one else have this problem? After reading the posts here I am currently using Ramble which seems cheep compared to the others and JiveTalk seems great but I'm only a 10min user for Jive so, I guess ill end up paying for it. Does n e one kno how long the JiveTalk subscription lasts for the $20?
