    Idea for a new app......

Not sure whether this would be possible (shoot or if it even already exists) but wouldn't it be awesome if there could be an app that puts a little box with a # in it on the desktop in either upper corners and it just show the file free amount all the time.
Sort of a warning indicator for when its time for a batt pull or other measure to protect ur email/msgs/call logs.

That way u don't need to keep checking 'Options>Status' all the damn time like I do.

    Good suggestion!

waht I do currently is leave the "status" highlighted in the options menu. Then turn off the "dial from home screen"

Then all I have to do to check free mem is to hit the "o" and then click the trackball...easy!

If you have security options on, you should be able to activate the Memory Cleaner option. Having that active will help a lot when it comes to your free memory.

Didn't know the alt+EACE.... Cool! Its a bit more convenient

Can't use 'O' for options coz I need it as a speeddial and on the 8100 u can't turn off home screen dialing.

Any more info on the Mem Cleaner reddog?? Not sure if my model is capable. Thanks
